Icing - Spring Colors

So, I have a bad habit. On days when I get an hour break at work, I tend to wander the mall. I usually end up in Icing, Hot Topic, Claire's or Coach. Not good. On one particular day, I was walking by Icing as they were putting out their gorgeous new mint green polish. I ended up getting that one, plus a couple other ones.

Mint 2 Be
Icing - Mint 2 Be
2 coats, no top coat

The perfect mint green polish! You guys may or may not know, but I have a slight obsession with mint green polishes. I should probably take a collective shot sometime soon, it's quite amusing. Anyways, this is probably one of my favorites. It had a perfect application in just two coats. More on the yellow side than blue like Sinul Colors - Mint Apple.

Lilly
Icing - Lilly
2 coats, no top coat

Dusty purple. Again, another beautiful Icing polish with two coats... heck yes! I'm in love with the newer colors they have coming out.

Weekend Rendezvous
Icing - Weekend Rendezvous
2 coats, no top coat

A nice & bright pinky coral. This one was on display with Mint 2 Be and were being paired together with a bunch of other green and coral items. Including a really cute tote bag, just FYI.

Dark & Stormy
Icing - Dark & Stormy
2 coats, no top coat

And now for something completely random. A deep dark blue/green with a teal flash to it. Has a slight gold shimmer to it as well, which is always fun. This reminds me of a deeper version of MAC's eyeshadow in Steamy.

These are really pretty! :-D Especially loving the mint and the last one! Great colors. Is it possible to order nailpolish by this brand online?

Michele - I don't believe they're available for purchase online. I looked on their website and didn't see an option to purchase anything :(

I need to go back and check on those, I was at Icing a couple of weeks ago and they didn't have these yet. I have my fingers crossed, I WANT that mint! I love mint polishes too. Fabulous swatches as always!

Alexa,
I LOVE the icing polish colors but i have yet to buy one that didn't need nail polish thinner after one use. They get so thick and goopy. Have you had this problem too?

Alexa (lextard) said... [Reply]

lovemy3girls - I haven't, actually. I've never had to thin any of them..

I'm wearing Mint Apple right now, and I really love it. This mint is nice as well, but I think the blue in Mint Apple compliments my skintone better than the yellow in this mint would.

I'm digging the coral pink, though. How much do Icing polishes run? Do they ever have sales on them?

I think the polishes are $3? or 4. They always have buy one get one 50%. :)
